10/10/2019 How Do I Add Hulu To My Hisense Smart Tv
So recently I was lucky enough to be able to test the Hisense 40H5 and the 48H5. Also, I've been off the grid for a while. Hopefully, readers its given you time to catch up on reading the articles.
Hisense TV: HISense TV doesn't offer app interface for accessing Hulu. Chat personnel was useless. I asked, she said it was streaming, I said I need instructions for accessing she cut me off and sent me a survey.
Back to business with the Hisense H5 Series.First of all, we need to know who Hisense is. Well I'm going to give you 'Lens of Truth' on this one, Its a subsidiary of Hitachi. Apparently, the mafia and businesses have the exact same tool kit.
Basically, Hitachi creates a new brand with a consumer friendly name like Hisense. So basically, there are three brands of TVs Hitachi own which is the self titled one, LG, and Hisense.
Ever buy a LG drive? It says H and L Storage Solutions. Formerly known as Hitichi and LG storage according to some circles. I'm pretty sure that means Hitachi and LG storage solutions. Now, we know that Hitachi is trying to be creative and using different branding to make you buy their products, lets look at the quality. Well there's nothing bad to say there.

I could base that on their power tools which can go through hell and make it back. Rumor has it that Hitachi manufactures in the us and ships to china to be assembled. There might be some truth that considering that Hitachi does what our South Korean friends at Samsung do, which is the consumer and supply market game. So far Hisense are built well.Next, to the design of the bezel it looks a lot like the LG, refer to the second paragraph for that explanation. However, in the design world the bezel is not balanced. Design like that would get your fired in the BFA battleground.
Outside the lack of asymetric balance the design is a throwback to the minimialist age of art but I digress. I actually like the width of the bezel because you have to grab the tv there becaus there are no hanldes on the back of it. Where some of these H5's get you wish there was a handle on the back of it. Especially if your mounting it on a heavy duty 400x400 vesa swing arm.I would be noteworthy to mention that the Hisense H5 series TV's are all smart TV's.
So get a pc keyboard and mouse, you'll need it when you look for youtube videos to share with friends and family. The H5 series has wifi but its not without its flaws where most things have to be entered manually. The WPS setup isn't as smooth as you'd like it. If the wifi dosen't work for you there is a LAN jack on the TV as well. They are all 1080i and 1080p. Netflix is hardwired installed on the H5 series.
However, that's not what makes the H5 worth having.I know I've been keeping you waiting forever on the most important part of this review, which is the picture quality. Well watch out Hitachi has magically photoshoped every image this display shows.
I mean it its like they built in Photshop's unsharpen filter. You though you computer monitors had depth and detail the H5 will make you question your pc moinotrs. Sadly, you might not want to game on the H5 seires because of the 8ms delay. There maybe upscaling with the larger versions of the H5 series but where it sharpens the image automatically there isn't noticable quality loss on the 48 inch display. You will see pimples covered with makeup you will see the analog nature of motion picutres.Given the oppunotority to purchase one of these TV's, it would be hard to pass one of these TV's up. At the moment I recomened that if your looking for a smart TV with a great picture get one of the H5 series TV.
Well untill the next review, sorry I posted half of this thing but it was a late night and I clicked submit instead of save. For anyone that asked about the device compatibility and function for the H5 series:The TV does not have Bluetooth capabilities, at least not in the current firmware. However, these TVs have quite an amazing wireless network device setup. Devices like Phones, Tablets, and PCs can all be wirelessly connected to the tv and offer various controls to the system. As well as, previously mentioned, this TV is definitely plug and play compatible for anyone who has trouble setting up the wi fi based controls. All in all, the H5 has alot to play with and figure out. Many differnt apps and internet services to explore. Great visuals as well.

Visit your Smart TV's Network Settings, Network or Settings menu.Select the WiFi or Wireless option and wait for the device to scan for available wireless networks (sometimes referred to as access points).Select your WiFi Network Name (also called an SSID) from the list of available networks. If your in-home XFINITY network does not appear on the list of available networks, you may need to choose the Search or Add a Wireless Network option. When prompted, enter any relevant information, such as the network name, password or security type. When prompted, enter the Password (also called a Network Key) using the keypad on the remote control handset or onscreen keypad. If you recently changed your WiFi network name and/or password, you will need to repeat the above steps for each WiFi-capable device on your network.
